Telemundos La Reina del Sur averaged 2.6 million total viewers (Persons 2+) on Friday, March 4 according to Nielsen national audience estimates, bringing the telenovela’s 5-day average to more than 2.7 million viewers and making it the most successful novela premiere week in the history of the network. Monday through Friday, La Reina del Sur was viewed by more than 8.1 million total persons and close to 5 million Adults 18-49. On Friday, La Reina del Sur registered 1,612,000 Adults 18-49, delivering a 5-day average of 1,756,000 viewers in the key demographic. It also averaged 783,000 Women 18-49 and 829,000 Men 18-49. In its first week, the telenovela averaged 882,000 Women 18-49 and 874,000 Men 18-49. Among Adults 18-34, La Reina del Sur averaged 875,000 viewers on Friday night and nearly 1 million (991,000) for the first week. Reina‘s delivery beat Univisión in the Monday through Friday 10 -11pm daypart last week by +1% in Adults 18-49 (1,756,000 vs. 1,740,000), +25% in Men 18-49 (874,000 vs. 700,000) and +29% in Men 18-34 (524,000 vs. 407,000). Reina‘s delivery beat TeleFutura in the Monday through Friday 10 -11pm daypart last week by triple digits across all key demos.
