Telemundo named seasoned network executive Lee Flaster to SVP of Business Operations and Growth Strategy. Flaster will be based in Miami and report to Luis Silberwasser, President of Telemundo Network, and Marlene Dooner, EVP of Hispanic Group, NBCUniversal.In this new role, Flaster will lead the Telemundo networks business planning process and identify strategies and opportunities to increase the commercial appeal of the network, while providing support to NBC Universo and Digital & Emerging Platforms. Flaster will work with various internal departments to maximize the profitability of the networks programming. In addition, working closely with Dooner, he will collaborate across the Hispanic Group portfolio to identify opportunities to maximize revenue potential across the entire division.With more than 15 years in the NBCUniversal family, Lee brings a proven track record in promoting revenue growth for the company. Therefore, I am excited for Lee to join the networks management team as we continue to drive audience share and profitable growth into the future, said Silberwasser. Previously, Flaster was Senior Vice President, Planning, Strategy and Business Operations, NBCUniversal Hispanic Group, where he developed business strategies and partnerships focused on revenue growth opportunities across all platforms.
