Los Chávez follows the life of the family of former boxer Julio César Chávez
The reality show Los Chávez, which follows the life of the family of former boxer Julio César Chávez, will premiere on Disney+ on September 11. The show was produced by José Vicente Scheuren’s Cinemat.
“This Julio César Chávez project, called Los Chávez, is something I love. It’s a bit like The Osbournes and The Kardashians, but based on the crazy, interesting, and extraordinary life of the Mexican champion,” said Fernando Barbosa, Senior VP of Distribution and Production for Disney in Latin America, when he presented the series at the last LA Screenings.
He highlighted that it’s a show that will strongly resonate with viewers due to Chávez’s importance among the Mexican audience.
