Dos Lunas marks Bárbara Moris return to TV after a nine-year hiatus
The series Dos Lunas, a co-production of FOX International Channels, Argos TV, LUA Producciones and Cadenatres, premiered on February 18th on MundoFOX. Producer and protagonist Bárbara Mori said theyre gauging the audiences reaction to consider producing a second season.I created this project with my partners at LUA Producciones, and its loosely based on processes Ive experienced in my life, which I wanted to bring to the TV screen with two different characters. Im confident people are enjoying it, but we are awaiting the audiences response. If we do well, well produce a second season, said Mori, founder of LUA Producciones. After nine years away from the small screen, the actress said she saw in TV series a good opportunity to come back. However, returning with a project where she also is a producer has been challenging. It has not been easy because there is a lot to do, but I enjoyed learning from people like Epigmenio Ibarra and our producer Marcela Mejía, said Mori. She said she does not plan to return to telenovelas, where she built international recognition with stories such as Rubí, citing shes focused on Dos Lunas and on continuing to work on film projects.Dos Lunas airs Tuesdays at 9pm on MundoFOX.
