Luis Torres-Bohl, owner of Castalia Communications and one of the most renown and respected signal distributors in the US and Latin America, has gone back to his original occupation which made him settle in the US: production. Torres-Bohl has been a producer, both in front of the camera as a presenter and speaker, as well as behind cameras as an executive.On MIPTV he promotes in Europe his reality programs Son Mariachis and El Rayo Vida de Lucha, produced by his group for the channel Mexicanal (Mexicanal is a channel built on a partnership between Torres-Bohl and Ernesto Tinajero from Cablecom). Son Mariachis is now in its second season and another one of El Rayo Vida de Lucha is currently being studied.Torres-Bohl announced that many more own productions are underway, such as another reality program focused on a Mexican soccer team’s efforts to ascend in leagues, and a series that highlights the good things about Mexico.
