Maximiliano Vaccaro, VP of Digital Services, emphasized that Edye would not be possible without the support of a robust technological infrastructure that enables its operation.
“From our apps, available across all platforms, to the digital integration service that allows affiliate operators to connect directly to our content and metadata repositories, Edye incorporates the most advanced digital technologies to provide an excellent user experience,” explained Vaccaro. They’ve also developed games and other activities that enrich the experience and better serve children.
Vaccaro announced that starting this month, they are launching Edye Play, the first web-based version for navigation and playback. “Edye Play offers full access to the experience on any device, with no need to download the apps,” he said.
He also revealed that Edye’s mascot, Ray, is being trained as an AI agent, enabling children to interact with him organically and ask for help navigating the vast content catalog or even answering basic questions. “We’re already conducting advanced tests and integrating sophisticated natural language models and high-security frameworks to ensure a secure experience. Edye is synonymous with technological excellence, safety, and imaginative innovation in the service of children,” he concluded.
