Olympusat´s flagship channel Cine Mexicano is celebrating 10 years in the US market. Among its most recent distribution agreements are the ones reached with DIRECTV and with Cablevision.”Cine Mexicano is our flagship channel and we are very proud. We have a lot of projects. We see the possiblity of carrying out joint productions with some Mexican companies, one of them is Yajaira Films. Aside from this, we are launching a promotion of the 10th anniversary of the channel,” told Arturo Chávez, SVP for Hispanic Owned and Operated Networks for Olympusat to PRODU enthusiastically. Chávez also spoke about the company’s plans in the OTT área, where Olympusat is launching its platform Vemox that is part of the agreement the company signed with Viaccess-Orca from the Grupo Orange.”Our OTT platform is going to be one of the best with regard to technology,” he pointed out.
