Olympusat has communicated that Jesús Piñango has been named to the newly created position of director of Content Strategy. In this role Piñango will provide key leadership in the project development to ensure the content strategy needed to reach the target audience for Olympusat networks and partner channels.Piñango will report to the COO, Charles Mohler, and will coordinate with directors, production staff assessing multicultural TV content for new and stablished TV networks into the traditional distribution and OTT platform as Vemox, Olympusat multiscreen turnkey solution. For over 20 years, print and broadcast journalism have allowed Jesús Piñango to integrate himself into this generation with broadest tastes in content than any other in history. Understanding the Spanish-speaking audiences interest for engaging and relevant news led Jesus to serve as adviser to introduce renowned personalities from Europe toward Latin American through Promosaloms and Germanys chambers of commerce.In an effort to understand the television industry, Piñango worked in the Traffic and Programming departments for Telemundo, Imagina US, DIRECTV, Sky Mexico, and lastly, Olympusat, where he is now serving as director of Content Strategy.
