Juan Andrés Rodríguez, former Venevision Productions and executive with more than 28 years of experience in the production industry, has been working independently for 18 months and recently founded his own production company, Rover Entertainment in Miami.We currently have two service areas: the development unit, dedicated to the production of original contents and format design, and the production services area, Rodríguez told PRODU.He highlighted that they have already developed several formats (including game shows, talk shows, reality shows, an entertainment magazine, series and docudramas), which they are offering to channels such as Univision and Telemundo in the US.In game shows they have El Coliseo (1 hour), a large-scale production and it is very complex. In series, they have two 45-minute-long super-series: Angels 305 designed for Los Angeles and Desaparecida conceived for Miami. One is about vehicle theft and the other about human trafficking. They are also working on a combination of talk show with lifestyle magazine, called Vida en Forma, which is broadcast daily, and also a talk show with Judith Grace called Judith Siempre Contigo. Other formats they have are the entertainment magazine Preview Show (half an hour weekly) and the docudrama Crímenes Pasionales (52×60), in which well-known passion crimes are dramatized. They have also made commercials for some clients in the US Hispanic market.
