Puerto Rico Network enters grid of Cablevision NY

To celebrate Puerto Rico Networks entry to the New York market, the channel produced the special ¡Bienvenido Nueva York!
Young channel Puerto Rico Network was recently added to the grid of cable operator Cablevision New York on channel 1027.Puerto Rico Network has everything Puerto Ricans like: music, food, sports, news, the beautiful landscapes of our towns, entertainment, and above all, their favorite stars. Our goal is to reach all Puerto Ricans in the U.S., said Ray Cruz, President of Puerto Rico Public Broadcasting Corporation.The channels programming seeks to strengthen its bond with the over 4.5 million Puerto Ricans living in the U.S. Being the largest TV programming workshop in Puerto Rico allowed us to launch this channel in the U.S., added Cruz.To celebrate Puerto Rico Networks entry to the New York market, the channel produced the special ¡Bienvenido Nueva York!, with musical appearances by Andy Montañez and his Orchestra, Chucho Avellanet, Rafael José, NG2, Tavín Pumarejo, Trovadores Invitados, and Bailadores de la Salsa. Also, La Cocina de Giovanna featured some of Puerto Ricos favorite dishes.The show was hosted by a long list of celebrities including Rafael José, Luisito Vigoreaux, Héctor Marcano, Carmen Jovet, Joey Hernández, Eddie Miró, Griselle Mamery, Rony Campos, Yoyo Boing, Alejandro Croatto, Jessica Medina, David Reyes, Mayra Acevedo, Félix Alemán and Melwin Cedeño.
