Sergio Leos, Marketing Advisor, explained that promotional activities for Edye go hand in hand with offering educational experiences for young viewers.
“In April, we launched the Festival de la Tierra, an initiative where we programmed a curated selection of content focused on respect for nature and the protection of our planet. In October, we joined the activities of World Space Week, organized by the United Nations and the European Space Agency, to spark children’s interest in the universe, space technology, and its real-world applications,” Leos said, adding that both events provide opportunities for operators to participate by opening this special programming to all their users for free.
He noted that Edye complements these initiatives by organizing contests and public events.
Leos also mentioned that they carry out promotional efforts with strategic partners, such as Walmart in Mexico, with whom they’ve held in-store activities and are now launching a major initiative that will offer subscription options at scale as part of their benefits program.
Juan Pablo Morales, Marketing Advisor in Colombia, pointed out another successful effort with Claro Colombia: “We established a collaboration to drive tele-sales and thus expand the on-demand subscriber base.” Carolina Largo, Head of Monetization at Claro Colombia, added that the results of this collaboration have been “very positive. We are very pleased with the growth we’ve achieved with Claro Colombia.”
