Telefe: We want to be in every territory with offices and production units

Telefe´s structure has gradually implemented changes and now Tomás Yankelevich, director of Global Contents and International Businesses, is at the helm of important areas: open screen, production and co-production, and, recently, distribution of canned products, formats, production services and worldwide productions, all this managed by International Businesses, that has been under the responsibility of Guillermo Borensztein for less than a month.
“The idea is to position the production company, for Telefe to be in the five continents, generating production offices in different countries, like the one we now have in Los Angeles; and to open production units in diverse territories, like we already did in Peru, in alliance with con América TV,” said Borensztein.
With América TV they already produced El Regreso de Lucas and are developing two different products for next year: another superseries and a telenovela with a modern code.
El Regreso de Lucas will soon debut in Peru. Aside from Peru and Argentina, they have already screens EE UU, Ecuador, Chile, Honduras, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Israel (Channel Yes) and Vietnam (through PhuThai Media). The format will also be adapted for the Middle East and Northern Africa (by the production company Beelink).
“Before its debut, the superseries El Regreso de Lucas has already ensured more than 10 territories,” higlighted Borensztein.
