Encuentro con Obama was the #1 show among Total Viewers in Spanish-language TV for its time period in LA, Miami, Chicago and Phoenix
The Spanish-language broadcast of the Telemundo and MSNBC coproduction Encuentro con Obama on February 25 at 7pm ET reached 2,902,000 Total Viewers and 1,371,000 Adults 18 to 49, according to Nielsen. Conducted by Telemundo and MSNBCs news anchor José Díaz-Balart, the exclusive town hall delivered an average of 1,723,000 Total Viewers and 809,000 Adults 18 to 49. Encuentro con Obama followed the broadcast of Acción Ejecutiva, a news special covering President Obamas Executive Action on Immigration on November 2014, which ranked as the best performing Telemundo news special in 2014. Encuentro con Obama was the #1 show among Total Viewers in Spanish-language television for its time period in Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago and Phoenix.As a leader in Hispanic media, Telemundo has both the opportunity and the responsibility to empower its audience.
