Telemundo 52 commemorates Mexicos bicentennial with a Fiestas Patrias event

The event takes place at Placita Olvera in downtown Los Angeles
Telemundo 52, Telemundos flagship station in Los Angeles, presents Fiestas Patrias 2010, a special celebration to commemorate the 200th anniversary of Mexicos independence and the 100th anniversary of its Revolution.The two-day festival will pay tribute to Mexican history and the pride and tradition of the Mexican community in Southern California. The event will take place on Saturday and Sunday, September 18th and 19th at Placita Olvera in downtown Los Angeles.Fiestas Patrias 2010 will include special appearances by Telemundos El clon leading actress, Sandra Echevarría, and other Telemundo stars. The public will also have the opportunity to meet Telemundo 52s personalities, including Rubén Luengas, Azalea Iñiguez and Ericka Pino, among others.During the two-day event, Telemundo 52 will unite the Hispanic community in a celebration filled with fun activities, traditional food kiosks, exhibitions, a childrens play area, and live music and entertainment for the entire family.
