Telemundo delivered the network’s best season ever for the 2010-2011 broadcast season, averaging more total viewers (Persons 2+) in prime time than ever before in the networks history, according to Nielsen Media Research. Telemundo was also the fastest-growing Spanish language broadcast network during prime time among total viewers (Persons 2+), with a larger increase over the 2009-2010 season than its competitors.During Monday through Friday prime, Telemundo gained more viewers on average compared to prior season (+177,000) than any other Spanish-language broadcast network. Univision and TeleFutura declined -1% and -28%, respectively. Telemundo delivered an average of 662,000 viewers among Adults 18-49, a +9% year-over-year increase (610,000). The network also gained more Adults 18-49 viewers, on average, than any other Spanish-language broadcast network compared to the prior season (+52,000). The season marks Telemundo’s best Monday through Friday prime performance in the networks history among Total Viewers (Persons 2+) and best performance since the 2005-2006 season among Adults 18-49 (718,000).
