With 17 channels on the air, Televisa Networks seeks to expand its channel lineup and attract new audiences, says Pepe Bastón, president of Television and Content of Televisa.We have new channels. This year we launched two of them (Golden Premier and UFC), but the goal is to reach niches we havent yet satisfied, either commercially or from an audience point of view. The objective is to provide tools so that the pay-TV industry and its audience grow together, said Bastón.He added that todays pay-TV industry is huge and has great growth potential. We all know there are important challenges ahead of us, but the opportunities are even greater.
