Televisa Deportes TDBook includes interviews and picture galleries with the channel hosts
This past Wednesday, January 8th at a Mexico City hotel, Televisa held an event hosted by Vanessa Huppenkothen, Marisol González and Karen Manzano, where it introduced its new project: TDBook, the multimedia calendar that features the years most important sporting events, combined with beautiful women.Laura Pérez, director of Multimedia Content, oversees this digital project, and told PRODU the goal was to offer different content to the audience.We created a product to refresh the brand, looking to cater to different targets, among them youngsters, with animation-related things and web-style videos, but we also reach the loyal TV viewer who wants new offers and products. We want TDBook to become a Televisa Deportes brand, said Pérez.She added that the project responds to all of the technological convergence and the growing digital consumption of both content and devices, which drives us to offer different things. This calendar also draws from the Facebook feed of the show La Jugada, and will have augmented reality through an app and print media. We want to be up to date with the means of consumption of the new generations.TDBook includes a printed calendar with pictures of Marisol González, Vanessa Huppenkothen, Mariangela Meotti, Daniela Plancarte and Karen Manzano; a digital calendar, La Jugada app for mobile devices, pictures galleries on the La Jugada website, and a 30-minute TV special where each host will talk about their career in sports.
