Empuje is narrated by Daisy Fuentes
Tr3s: MTV, Música y Más and the Pan American Health and Education Foundation (PAHEF) announce the premiere of Empuje, a new docu-series that follows the mentoring exercise of three young Latinos as they struggle to improve their health and wellness regiment together with celebrated Latino athletes. Narrated by Daisy Fuentes, each half-hour episode captures the grueling yet inspirational transformation alongside the PROs including FC Barcelona player Gerard Piqué, Olympic gold medalist Henry Cejudo, and black belt guru and celebrity personal trainer Ary Núñez. Empuje premieres every Sunday at 11am, starting November 11th on the bilingual/bicultural network, Tr3s.This documentary experience validates and honors great parents, committed mentors, responsible peers, brave storytelling and most of all tells the story that anything is possible. Push your dreams; the wildest thing that can happen is that they do come true! said Núñez.Ive always been a strong believer and advocate of education through athletics and this unique opportunity allowed me to bring that concept to life, while making an impact on the health and wellness of an amazing young man , said Cejudo. The series matches each professional athlete PRO to a devoted young Latino in a field or organization that the PRO has successfully achieved to instruct and teach through workshops, sharing tips and advice on how to successfully reach their health and wellness goals, revealing sometimes unexpected qualities of their personalities along the way.
