TVC Networks seeks to broaden its presence in the U.S. through correspondents
During an announcement about the changes TVC will undergo, Julio Di Bella, General Director of PCTV, said that in the coming months TVC Internacional will enter new territories in the southern U.S. without a partner. The goal of the channel is to offer Mexican television made by Mexicans. To this end, Di Bella said this decision is a reflection of the trust viewers and advertisers have in the channels content. TVC Internacional has gotten a great response and in the next months well be entering new territories in the southern U.S., both on cable and free TV. Originally, it was going to happen through a partnership, but now it will enter directly. We want to be present with a Mexican channel made by Mexicans, without tropicalizing its programming, said Di Bella. One of the main goals of this change is to evolve from a distributor of signals to a content generator. That is why we now dont just make television, but we also want to focus on mobile, added Di Bella.
