Verizon adds two more Spanish-language channels to FiOS TV lineup

Verizon adds two more Spanish-language channels to FiOS TV lineup: Tele El Salvador and Dominican View, both belonging to Grupo Supercanal. Tele El Salvador (FiOS TV Channel 1509): The first 24 hour channel from El Salvador to be available in the United States. Tele El Salvador was created to serve the needs of the over 2.5 million Salvadorans living in America. A General entertainment channel offering highly rated shows from the best TV Stations across the nation featuring news, sports, talk shows, and kid’s programming. Dominican View (FiOS TV Channel 1548): A general entertainment channel featuring exclusive live coverage of sports, news, special events and some of the highest rated shows from the Dominican Republic. Dominican View was designed and created specifically to fill the gap in Dominican programming currently available in the United States. Dominican View is the best source of information for Dominicans abroad. “We’re excited to be able to add two more Spanish-language channels to our growing FiOS TV lineup. This latest enhancement to our multicultural offering means even more programming for our Spanish-speaking customers in their native language,” said Michelle Webb, director of Content Strategy and Acquisition for Verizon. FiOS TV’s Spanish-language channel lineup now includes 43 of the most popular Spanish-language channels available.
