Desafío Vertical
Vme TV takes viewers on a mountaineering adventure to Angel Falls in Venezuela with Desafío Vertical. The show follows Spanish adventurist, Jesús Calleja, as he challenges six amateurs to scale the worlds highest uninterrupted waterfall. The program will air every Friday at 9pm E/P beginning June 27, 2014.During this nature quest, the outdoor enthusiast coaches the contestants, teaching them everything he knows in just a few weeks in order to give them the adrenaline rush of a lifetime. The prizewinner will have the opportunity to travel the world, all expenses paid. At Vme TV we loved the concept of Desafío Vertical because the essence of the show is to push people to their limits and reach new heights. In this case, literally and figuratively. We felt it was a different approach to our programming mission, which is to encourage our viewers to explore the world and defy obstacles, said Ralph Parkman, Vme TVs VP of Marketing.
