The music production team at West One Music Group (WOMG) works with a broad list of artists and composers from Latin America “to carefully create music for productions that are musically, culturally, and regionally authentic to the project,” explain Chris Brown, VP of Production for North America, and Mackenzy Lackey, Senior Production Coordinator, both based in Los Angeles.

They point out that the priority is to create authentic compositions for the project that the team can execute quickly or according to the client’s timeline. “We believe that fostering authentic music and relationships helps drive the global music production market and is a key factor for the success of a project,” they express.

SERVICES OFFERED

The Custom Music team at West One Music Group creates bespoke music for all types of media, from sonic branding, commercials, and institutional themes to movie soundtracks or title themes.

“On one hand, we offer our music library that includes carefully crafted albums ready to be licensed, covering diverse global trends and multiple genres; and on the other hand, the team works closely with the client to create custom music on a project-by-project basis, tailored to the client’s vision,” they said.

They can also customize tracks—stems—that they have in their library. “Our team can personalize an existing track from the West One Music Group catalog according to the client’s specifications, whether it’s changing a lyric for an ad or adding additional production elements, such as bells for a holiday promotion, always with the authentic touch the project requires,” they explained.

To start the process of finding the best solution to your requirements, the Custom Music team arranges a creative call with the client to discuss their vision and musical needs. “From there, the team works together with a suitable artist, producer, or composer on an authentic composition for the project,” they assure.

They pointed out that the Custom Music team at West One Music Group is dedicated to maintaining meaningful relationships with clients and works alongside them “offering a synergy between creativity, talent, experience, and professionalism, to bring their musical vision to life and thus, ensure the success of a project, not only locally but considering global trends.”

RELIABLE LATIN GENRES

West One Music Group has a roster of composers, artists, and producers in Latin America that includes talent from Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Peru, and Cuba, “who not only specialize in composing music true to their heritage but also a wide range of genres such as pop, regional, reggaeton, hip-hop, orchestral, documentary, and acoustic,” they assure.

NOTABLE PROJECTS

When asked about the most notable projects in music and personalized services they have done recently, Brown and Lackey mentioned: Disney+ Be Great, the trailer created for Hispanic Heritage Month; themes performed within the series La Venganza de las Juanas for Netflix; trailer for the animated series The Witcher on Netflix; animated song series for Lego Duplo; Christmas campaign for Jameson whiskey; Sonic Branding for Novartis; spot for Range Rover; documentary series with Morgan Freeman on History Channel, 761st Tank Battalion: The Original Black Panthers; and the promotion for the Big Ten College Game Day on NBC with Fallout Boy singing a remix of Here Comes Saturday Night.
